Networking Through Shared Values

For our latest event, The Commons created an experience dedicated to the exploration of shared values. The gathering took place at Eventide Brewery and was a space for reflection, discussion, and mutual inspiration.

The Values Activity served as a structured forum for educators to engage in reflective dialogue about their professional motivations, challenges, and aspirations for creating a supportive school environment. This gathering went beyond a typical networking event, offering educators an opportunity to deeply explore and articulate the foundational values underpinning their commitment to teaching.

Educators shared their personal and professional backgrounds, promptly transitioning to a discussion that focused on identifying and ranking their top five values. This exercise went beyond simply listing values; it required participants to reflect on how these values influence their approach to education.
